Leave with a clearer community and one useful support question.

Before you start

Bring your community link, current name and a short description of what members should be able to do. Use a draft or test view for changes.

Use this guide as a practice companion. The recording captures the app and conversation as they were on June 10, 2026; historical announcements and screens may differ today.

Make one useful thing.

  1. Write the member promise

Explain the audience and the main activity or resource. Keep the promise specific enough that you can check whether the community delivers it.

  2. Walk through the first visit

Open your community page, check the name and imagery, and follow the first important link. Note old names, missing information and any mismatch with the promise.

  3. Ask one precise support question

Describe what you expected, what happened and the page where it happened. Include a safe example. Check the answer against the actual result rather than assuming a setting changed.

Give it your context.

These practice prompts adapt the session’s ideas. Replace the bracketed text, review the response and make one specific revision.

Review the first visit

Review this community description [description] for [audience]. What would a new visitor expect to find? Identify confusing names, unclear benefits and one change that would make the next step easier.

Prepare a support question

Help me describe this issue [issue]. Include the page, my goal, expected behavior, actual behavior and steps I tried. Remove private details and ask for the current way to complete the task.

Finish with a next step.

0 of 5 complete. Your checklist is saved in this browser for this session.

Ideas to listen for

Names need consistency. The call addresses old branding appearing after a rename and how confusing that can be for members.

Ask for help at the point of friction. Members explore the support tools and describe the specific setup questions they need answered.

Get unstuck.

Does renaming change every old asset?

Check generated pages and documents individually. The recording includes a case where old branding persisted, so a successful rename is a reason to inspect the visitor journey.

Is every business tool shown part of the current platform?

Features and scope can change. Use current Help to confirm what your account supports rather than relying on a historical demonstration.

For help in your community, open Help → Support Agent and describe the result you want and where you got stuck.

Keep going

Based on the 2026-06-10 Launch & Learn recording and session notes. The practice prompts are adapted exercises. Announcements, example tools and product screens in the recording reflect the time of the call.
