Leave with one clear invitation and a working link.

Before you start

Bring a paragraph from your community page and a sample of how you naturally write. Choose one action you want a visitor to take.

Use this guide as a practice companion. The recording captures the app and conversation as they were on July 1, 2026; historical announcements and screens may differ today.

Make one useful thing.

  1. Explain the promise plainly

Write who the community helps and what they can do there. If you use a metaphor or brand phrase, explain what it means in practical terms.

  2. Rewrite in your own voice

Supply a real writing example and ask for a short invitation. Check that the draft sounds like you and avoids claims the community cannot yet support.

  3. Test the next step

Open the invitation link as a visitor. Check that it leads to the right place and that the promised activity or information is available. Ask someone to explain the offer back to you.

Give it your context.

These practice prompts adapt the session’s ideas. Replace the bracketed text, review the response and make one specific revision.

Clarify my promise

My community is called [name] and helps [audience]. Here is my current description [description]. Rewrite it so a new visitor understands what they can do there. Explain any metaphors and flag unsupported promises.

Use my actual voice

Using this voice sample [sample], draft a short invitation for [activity] with this next step [link/action]. Keep one clear benefit and one invitation. Do not publish or send it.

Finish with a next step.

0 of 5 complete. Your checklist is saved in this browser for this session.

Ideas to listen for

Your meaning comes first. The discussion explores brand language, imagery and making the promise understandable to other people.

Show a real workflow. Members discuss using behind-the-scenes examples to make AI work more concrete and credible.

Get unstuck.

Do I need to remove my personality?

No. Keep distinctive language when it helps. Add enough plain explanation that a person outside your business can understand it.

Can I use a generic template?

Use it as a starting point, then check the facts, voice, audience and next step against your own community.

For help in your community, open Help → Support Agent and describe the result you want and where you got stuck.

Keep going
