Leave with one tested visitor journey.

Before you start

Bring one draft page, lesson or app and a safe example to test. If you are changing code, use an isolated branch or copy so you can compare it with a working version.

Use this guide as a practice companion. The recording captures the app and conversation as they were on July 8, 2026; historical announcements and screens may differ today.

Make one useful thing.

  1. Choose one journey

Describe what a visitor should do first, what they should see and what counts as success. Keep the test to one journey rather than your whole project.

  2. Try it with a safe example

Open the page from the audience’s point of view. Follow the link, try the media and check the result. Record the actual behavior and any confusing labels.

  3. Fix and repeat the same test

Make one focused change in a draft or isolated version. Repeat the original steps and compare the result before replacing a working page or sending traffic to it.

Give it your context.

These practice prompts adapt the session’s ideas. Replace the bracketed text, review the response and make one specific revision.

Write a visitor test

This is my intended journey: [journey]. Create a short manual test with the starting page, actions, expected result and signs of failure. Include checking links and media. Use safe example data.

Describe a useful bug report

Turn these test notes [notes] into a clear issue report with expected behavior, actual behavior, steps to reproduce and the smallest change to investigate. Do not claim the issue is fixed.

Finish with a next step.

Ideas to listen for

Protect the working version. The discussion covers isolating development changes and checking applications before sharing them.

Follow the member’s journey. Questions about uploads, lessons, events and help show why a real visitor test matters.

Get unstuck.

Does an AI-generated app need testing?

Yes. Review what it actually does, including access, data handling and the result. A convincing preview does not establish that a workflow works.

Where do I ask about a changed screen?

Use your community’s Help and Support Agent with the goal, page and exact step where you got stuck.

For help in your community, open Help → Support Agent and describe the result you want and where you got stuck.

Keep going

Based on the 2026-07-08 Launch & Learn recording and session notes. The practice prompts are adapted exercises. Announcements, example tools and product screens in the recording reflect the time of the call.
